This passage describes the beginning of the tribulation period. The anti-christ (white horse) will rise to power and wars (red horse) bringing famine (black horse) and death (pale horse) will occur throughout the earth leaving 1/4 the population dead.
The stage is being set for these events. BE READY!!!
1. Salvation - Know that I am born again and will be caught up at the rapture to miss this terrible judgment period.
2. Service - Serve the Lord with total commitment and maximum use of the time!
3. Soulwinning - Share the Gospel faithfully with others so that they can escape judgment.
Walk with the Lord and be ready for Jesus to come!!!

I think this is the most pressing message of all in the Book of Revelation, regardless of whether one is pre-trib, post-trib, pre-mil, post-mil, or a-mil. We don't want to be like the bridesmaids Jesus describes in Matthew 25. Jesus is coming again, and we must be ready for Him!
