I Corinthians 13:1-13

There was never a more misused word in the world today than the word love or charity as in the King James Version. In the first three verses we have three different things that Christians can do with or without love. Without love our speaking would just be noise. Our knowledge would be useless and faith powerless with out the ingredient of love. This isn't any kind of love either, but it stems from the Greek word agape, which God instills only in Christian believers because of the work of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. Next, we may notice it is a selfless love, but it should produce the right kind of qualities in us. This is good to make these kinds of love that we find in these verses. Many things will fail, but love will never fail. After nearly 2000 years the importance of love still prevails as the greatest quality of the Christian life. Are you displaying this great quality in your own life?
