Paul illustrated the importance of understanding when exercising spiritual gifts, especially the gift of tongues.
1. Musical instruments - without clarity the audience has no understanding of the message
2. Bugle call - clear notes without distinctive arrangement obscure the message
3. Daily conversation - even if you clearly understand the words, if you don't know the meaning then the message is obscured.
I must personally and corporately worship in a way so that the message is clear, distinctive and meaningful.
Walk with the Lord and worship with understanding!!!
