After Peter is delivered from prison we learn of Herod's refusal to acknowledge and honor God!
1. Herod's Folly - Herod thought he was the greatest authority and that he was in control. He thought he could take the life of believers whenever he wanted for his benefit.
2. Herod's Friends - Herod chose foolish friends who only encouraged him in his folly.
3. Herod's Failure - Herod chose to take God's glory for himself. This resulted in his death.
1. Accept God's Glory - There is only one, true, living God - Jehovah
2. Appreciate God's Glory - Continue to learn the wonders of His greatness and choose friends who have this same desire
3. Acknowledge God's Glory - Continue to give God His rightful honor and praise in my life
Walk with the Lord and give God the glory!!!
