In this passage, Stephen paints a picture in his sermon of two of Israels past deliverers and how they picture the Lord Jesus Christ. Joseph and Moses were deliverers sent to rescue and redeem God's people but they were rejected just like the ultimate deliverer Jesus Christ was being rejected by the Jewish religious leaders.

I must see Jesus Christ as my deliverer from sin and satan. Be bold to share this good news like Stephen.
Walk with the Lord and picture my deliverer: Jesus Christ!!!
