This passage shows us the heart of compassion of the Lord Jesus! When Jesus heard that His friend was sick and knew that he had died, He risked His own safety and life to show compassion.
1. Jesus came - Jesus went to a dangerous place to be with Mary and Martha and to share His time with them.
2. Jesus comforted - Jesus shared words of comfort concerning hope and eternal life.
3. Jesus cared - Jesus wept and shared in their sorrow.
I must show compassion to others by sharing the same compassion Jesus has shared with me with someone else!
Walk with the Lord and share His compassion!!!
