In this passage Solomon gives his summary of the book and conclusion regarding life.
1. Attitude - "Fear God"- Recognize God's rightful place with a desire to please Him.
2. Action - "keep His commandments" - Obedience is the true indicator of "fear" or respect.
3. Accountability - "judgment" - God sees and knows all and will hold us responsible.
Life lived "under the sun" (without God in the picture) for temporary things is "vanity"(empty, profitless).
Life lived "under the Son"(in honor and obedience to Jesus Christ) for eternal things is priceless(fulfilling, worthwhile).
Walk with the Lord and live life under the Son!!!
