In yesterday's passage Paul described himself as a runner "pressing for the mark" and we envision a sprinter stretching toward the finish line with all his might. It is not enough to run hard and win the race; the runner must also obey the rules. In this passage, Paul emphasizes the importance of the Christian remembering the "spiritual rules" laid down in the Word.
A Perfect Walk - The word "perfect" means mature. Christians are to walk a mature walk of unity and oneness
A Patterned Walk - Paul admonished the Philippians to follow his example. We should walk following the good examples of Scripture and leaving a good example for others.
A Prospective Walk - Our lifestyle should reflect a constant readiness for the promised coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the reward judgment seat.
Walk with the Lord properly!!!
