Leviticus 23:15-22 Pentecost

This passage gives a description of the sacrifices made at Pentecost (50 days after Passover).
This was celebrated on Sunday, and on the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2, the Holy Spirit came down to the believers at Jerusalem and the church was born.

Verse 22 served as a reminder to take care of the poor among their people. Why? Because 'I am the Lord your God." Enough said. Even when we can't understand why God wants us to do certain things, we can remember our proper motive...because He is God.

Obey the Lord your God today!
