In this passage the Philistines realize that they are being judged for offending the true God.
1. The True God is living - Dagon was a statue
2. The True God is spirit - The ark was only an instrument of worship
3. The True God is Holy - Separate from sin and must judge sin
4. The True God is known - Philistines had heard of Pharaoh and Egypt
5. The True God must be chosen - Though the Philistines knew of the true God and had seen His power they refused to choose Him as their God.
False gods and idols abound! Be sure to choose the true and living God and live in obedience to Him!
Walk with the Lord and follow the true God!!!
