Paul was told that he would suffer for Christ. He did suffer greatly but did so willingly, lawfully and faithfully.
1. Willingly - A willingness to suffer for Christ helps us to resist temptation
2. Lawfully - Paul did not suffer for doing wrong but for doing right
3. Faithfully - Paul suffered and remained faithful through his suffering
Paul told Timothy that "all who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution". If I live a godly life I must expect suffering.
Suffering should be expected!
Suffering must be accepted!
Suffering will be rewarded!
Walk with the Lord and be willing to suffer!!!
