"For by His stripes (or wounds) we are healed."
This verse does not mean that people can have physical healing by the stripes of Jesus' suffering. Sorry, but that just isn't what this passage is talking about at all. Instead, this suffering that Jesus endured was to heal us from our unrighteousness. It allowed us to become new creatures, being made into His image, so that we could also be able to suffer unjustly just as He did.
So, if you have an imperfect master, that's alright. You do have a perfect Master in the LORD who has put you in a place where you can glorify Him with your sanctified actions and words. Seek to please God in everything you do...and yes, that includes some suffering. But don't forget, for the believer, all suffering will come to an end. The suffering we endure in this life is only temporary.
