John was sent to "prepare the way of the Lord".
1. Timing - The time of John's ministry was specified and verified
2. Telling - The proclamation of John was preparation for the coming of Jesus the Christ
3. Turning - The message of John was to turn to the true way of righteousness that produced fruit
True repentance produces the fruit of practical righteous living!
Walk with the Lord and demonstrate true repentance!!!
