Prepare For The Rapture! - 1 Peter 4:7-11

This passage gives four areas of preparation for the rapture.

1. Soberness - v.7 - to have clarity and calmness in the midst of worthless speculation and wild sensuality
2. Supplication - v.7 - to purposely be disciplined in prayer
3. Selflessness - v.8,9 - to "cover" sin and care for material needs
4. Service - v.10,11 - to use our gift for the edification of others and the exaltation of God

These preparations represent areas of meekness. Yielding rights to God of:

1. Thoughts - v.7
2. Time - v.7
3. Treatment - v.8
4. Treasure v.9
5. Talent v. -10,11
6. Testimony - v.11

Jesus Christ is coming again! Walk in meekness and be ready for His return!

Walk with the Lord in meekness and prepare for the rapture!!!
