The truth that Jesus Christ is the one God-man who came to die as our substitute, was buried and rose again and has forgiven all who have believed on Him for salvation and given to them eternal life abides in us and we are to abide in it. Jesus Christ abides in those who believe by His Holy Spirit and we are to abide in Him. This abiding:
1. Protects Us - keeps us from false teachers
2. Purifies Us - gives us hope and awareness of accountability
3. Places Us - identifies us as the children of God
Walk with the Lord and abide!!!
