Washed In the Blood! - Mark 14:22-31

At the last passover celebration with the disciples before His crucifixion, Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper or Communion. This was to be a time for:
1. Reflection - Remembering Christ's broken body and shed blood on the cross.
2. Examination - Carefully humbling ourselves and searching out and confessing all sin and pride.
3. Anticipation - Looking ahead to the promised coming of Jesus Christ.

As we reflect on the death of Christ we remember:
1. Blood Announced - God proclaimed and demonstrated that only blood can cleanse sin and remove judgment.
2. Blood Available - To make blood available there had to be a satisfactory, substitutional, sacrificial death.
3. Blood Applied - Cleansing, comforting, conquering, compelling blood has been made available to all but it must be applied individually by faith.

Walk with the Lord, washed in the blood!!!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm reading.

Sounds like you have had some good stuff at church lately.
