Acts 18:1-17

There are three things I would like to say about this part of the Word of God. The first is that when he could, Paul worked with Priscilla and Aquila making tents. There are times when he felt that it would be too burdensome to the people to do this. Many ministers in small churches have jobs to have enough income to preach. This is very commendable. The second is Paul was spoken to by the Lord about the safety in the wide open wicked city of Corinth. When we may be in danger the Lord can give this assurance that we are in His will. Then there is this man Gallio who became a protector for Paul and his men who were with him. All through the book of Acts we find these men. This speaks of God's protection for those in any danger or even when there is a need for anything like this. This has been true in many places in the world even today. God is the Sovereign ruler of the Universe and we are His people. Why should I fear.
