Acts 20:25-38

In this part of the Bible we have a profound statement by the Apostle Paul. "I am innocent of the blood of all men." This didn't mean he was able to preach the world over, but he declared to them the truth to prevent them from eternal punishment we call Hell. Another statement was that Paul declared to them the "whole council of God." Not just tell them how to be saved but to go further to the complete maturity of the believer.
Paul's talk here is to elders or overseers. It is better to have a church with many elders than many babes with years of being saved.
The next call is to watch as Satan has emissaries that want to tear up the flock. Many times these come from the very middle of the flock and not from the outside. Paul coveted no mans silver or gold many times working with his own hands to pay his expenses. This is commendable. Covetousness is a sin that could do a lot of harm to the flock of God. I would rather not be paid at all than to have someone accuse me of being a money grabber. The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.
