The first resurrection is the resurrection unto life. This resurrection happens in stages.
The Process
1. Christ - the first fruits - 1 Corinthians 15:53
2. Early Church - "many" raised when Christ was raised - Matthew 27:52,53
3. Church Age - rapture - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
4. 2 Witnesses - tribulation - Revelation 11:3-11
5. O.T. and Tribulation Saints - end of tribulation - Revelation 20:4
The Power
The first resurrection is unto life and for those who partake of the first resurrection the second death has no power.
The Privilege
Those who are part of the first resurrection will rule and reign with Christ during the 1000 year kingdom.
By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone I am a partaker in the first resurrection!
Walk with the Lord in hope of the first resurrection!!!
