Judges describes a great period of compromise. During this time God raised up those who were conquerors that delivered the people from their enemies. The story of Gideon shows the preparation of a conqueror by answering a series of questions.
1. Does God really care about me? Judges 6:1-13
2. Does God know what He is doing? Judges 6:14-24
3. Is God big enough to help me? Judges 6:25-32
4. Will God keep His promises? Judges 6:33-40
God truly works in "mysterious" ways. God's ways are not man's ways, in fact, usually the exact opposite. 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 declares that God has chosen this way to display His wisdom and that HE MIGHT RECEIVE THE GLORY!
When I don't understand the ways of God I must trust the wisdom of God! Where He guides He will provide. Where He calls He will enable!
Walk with the Lord and prepare to be a conqueror!!!
