David looked forward to the coming Messiah and His millennial kingdom. David rejoiced in the certainty, confidence and circumference of His reign. David knew it was only a matter of time before Christ would be honored and exalted by all and David lived in that future. This brought:
1. Energy - Notice the passion and zeal that David has in his worship. Do I have that same kind of excitement and enthusiasm for my relationship with God?
2. Encouragement - David's faith is strengthened as he rehearses God's promises. When I am feeling discouraged, the promises of God are like wind in the sails of my faith.
3. Exhortation - Living in the future brings a responsibility to share about the future with others and challenge them to prepare for that day when Christ will reign and live now as though He is reigning already. Share the good news of our Savior, Jesus Christ with someone today!
Walk with the Lord and proclaim Him Lord of all!!!
