There are two ways to live as a Christian. One of them is better.
This better way includes work, labors of love, ministry, diligence, not being slothful, faithfulness and patience. To get the full value of the Christian life, we must strive to make all of these characteristics true of ourselves. Think about heaven... think about heaven when you have worked with all of these characteristics consistently over many years... just as verse 11 says, when we work like this, our hope is an even fuller hope, looking forward to that day.
Let's work harder and look forward to that day!
