Zechariah reminded God's people to not lose hope. God would send the Messiah who would one day keep His promise to establish a worldwide kingdom.
Will you and I have a part in God's promised kingdom? This is determined now by whether or not we receive Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. Jesus told Nicodemus, "except a man be born again he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven".
What will my part be in the kingdom? This is determined now by how I serve Jesus Christ. Those who have received Jesus as Savior will "rule and reign with Him" in His kingdom. Our duties will be part of our reward at the judgment seat of Christ.
Walk with the Lord and live for the kingdom!!!
