In this whole chapter there is the exaltation of the Lord Jesus Christ, comparing Him with angels which in my estimation are the highest order of God's creation. We see Him as the One who speaks to us in latter times. We see Him as heir of all things, the invisible God, the One who can be seen of God who can't be seen. We see Him as creator of all things and by Himself purging our sins giving us the right to Heaven as sons of God. We also see Him as eternal Son and worshiped by angels. I didn't even get to our verses yet.
Now beginning with verse 8 we see Him with an everlasting throne. Other verses call Him King of kings and Lord of lords. In His kingdom He is seen wielding a scepter of righteousness and loving it and hating lawlessness. He is the One anointed with the Oil of gladness, representing the personal presence of the Holy Spirit of God in His earthly life.
Next, He is Creator as above mentioned laying the foundation of the Earth and the heavens (sky and universe) being the work of His hands. By the way He remains when all else perishes.
Could it be that this One who became a man for the purpose of dying for my sins will eventually control everything He created? Yes! Who are the heirs of salvation? Every person who accepts Him. You are if you trust Him. I am too hallelujah!
