Jesus Christ was "pierced" by sinful men who represented all of us at Calvary. Piercing shows submission and servant hood. The cross was the ultimate act of loving service and the fulfillment of prophecy. One day the nation of Israel as a whole will see Jesus Christ as He returns in glory and accept Him as their messiah.
Today salvation is offered to us through looking to the crucified Christ in faith. I have looked to Jesus for eternal life, now I must point others to Him for salvation!
Walk with the Lord and look to Him whom we pierced!!!
