Luke 6:39-49

There are a lot of blind leaders of the blind in the world today. Jesus said those that are led will fall into the ditch along with those who lead them. The ditches are full of those today. There are many looking at specks in other peoples eyes with large obstructions in their own eyes. We must judge ourselves first. Then we are able to help others with their problems. In the natural realm we know that bad fruit only comes from the kind of tree that it is. Trees only produce after their kind. If you see a man who claims to be a Christian who does not believe what can you conclude? Now in order to call Jesus Lord we need to be willing to do what He says. Otherwise people will realize you are not sincere in what you profess. The foundation Jesus is speaking about in the rest of the chapter is hearing the words of Jesus and not doing them. Again the floods and storms will come, but if you are not founded on the words of Jesus you will have a great fall.
