Luke 8:26-40

The story about the man in this chapter is very touching to me. This is a little like my story although I was not possessed with demons, and I didn't run around naked. But we can say that until a man or woman comes to Christ they are not in their right mind. Later Paul says that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and of a sound mind. Did you notice how the demons knew who Jesus really was? Even the demons recognize Him but sinful man does not. Notice the power of the demonic world with what was done with the 2000 pigs. When the towns people heard of the incident they asked Jesus to leave the region. Now what is to happen to the man who is now sitting finally clothed and in his right mind. He wants to be with Jesus and rightfully so. However he is told to go back to his own people and tell what Jesus did for him. Go back he did and told the whole region of then cities what had happened to him. They all knew him for what he once was. Now they would know him in a different way. When we turn to Christ do people see a change in us . Do we tell them?
