Matthew 13:24-43
First I want to go into the parable of the wheat and the tares. The tares are various weeds that can make cattle sick if eaten. Another name for them is Darnell. The thing about them is that they look like wheat until they come to a full head. When that happens three kinds of plants develop, precious wheat, worthless wheat and a dangerous weed. The sowing of the wheat is Jesus and the sowing to the wheat is Jesus and the sowing of the tares is the devil. There are two families in this world. The unbelieving family and the Christian family. The first can be very religious and look almost like a Christian. They may even live better than a Christian, so much so that you can't tell them apart. We must try to have enough knowledge to tell them from one another. The end of one will be the lake of fire and the other Heaven. True believers in Jesus Christ shall shine as the sun in the kingdom of the Father. Do you want to be that one? Receive Christ today and continue to live like the precious wheat of God's kingdom. The mustard seed is relevant in that it represents abnormal growth. The birds of the air are representatives of the prince of the power of the air , the devil. Usually the woman hiding leaven in the three measures of meal is another symbol of wickedness. Leaven is wickedness and three measures of meal in the law of Moses represents the perfect life of Christ. There is evil when that perfect life is in any way distorted. How do we feel about the perfect humanity of the second person of the Triune God. See Colossians 2:9 In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
