Spiritual Sight! - Mark 8:11-26

This passage deals with spiritual sight:
1. The Exchange - Jesus rebukes the pharisees for their blindness of only seeing Him as a man and not believing He is God and Messiah.
2. The Exhortation - Jesus rebukes the disciples for their dullness of seeing Him as Savior but not as all sufficient for their present, daily lives.
3. The Example - The blind man first represents the pharisees who see nothing in Jesus. Next, his partial sight depicts the disciples who have partial understanding of the significance of Jesus. Last, as he receives his full sight, he represents what Jesus wants for all of us - to see the significance of Jesus for the past, present and future!

How do I see Jesus? Oh, to see Him clearly in all of His glory and significance for:
1. The past - forgiveness of my sin
2. The future - eternal life in heaven
3. THE PRESENT - ABUNDANT LIFE - ALL SUFFICIENCY IN ALL THINGS!!!

Walk with the Lord and SEE JESUS clearly!!!
